Kimberly Buchan

Hello Linda Vista families! I am thrilled to serve as the PTA President for the upcoming school year. My son, Ellis, is in third grade, and in the time we've been part of the Linda Vista community, we’ve met so many wonderful friends and teachers and grown to love our school. With a background in non-profit management, I bring a deep commitment to community service. My goal is to ensure that every family feels welcome and valued in our school community. I look forward to working with all of you to make this a fantastic year for our students and to strengthen the supportive environment that makes Linda Vista so special. ​

Kat Metzen
​Executive Vice President ​

Hi, I'm Kat Metzen, and I'm the proud mom of Korra, who's having a blast in 3rd grade at Linda Vista! We live in Prospect Hills, and when I'm not diving into a good sci-fi book or hanging out at the dog park, you’ll probably find me volunteering at school. Before I became a full-time mom, I lived the gamer dream as a professional gamer. I also managed an international gaming team for Championship Gaming Series, handled eCommerce for a video game publisher, and even created toys and clothes inspired by my favorite game characters. Now, I'm channeling all that energy into helping make our PTA and community the best it can be!

Lesley Pond

My name is Lesley and I am the PTA Treasurer. I have a 4th and 6th grader at Linda Vista. I've been here since 2018 and have seen a lot of great changes in our PTA! I absolutely love to help the school and talk to parents. I walk my kids in and pick them up so if you see me, say hi! I want to hear your opinions or suggestions for PTA, and anything else you want to chat about. It takes a village! Thanks for all your support of PTA!

Nichol Forbes
Recording Secretary

Hello! My name is Nichol Forbes, and I’m proud to serve as the Recording Secretary for the Linda Vista PTA. I’m the proud parent of a third grader here at Linda Vista, and ever since our family joined the school community last year, we’ve felt incredibly welcomed and supported. My husband was actually a student here years ago, so it has been a special full-circle moment for our family to now have our daughter attending the same school. From the beginning, I was eager to get involved, and joining the PTA has been a rewarding decision. Joining was a simple process and it has allowed our family to stay connected to what’s happening at school and to contribute in a meaningful way. I’m excited to continue working alongside such a dedicated group of parents, teachers, and staff to support our students and strengthen our school community.

Ways & Means Chair

I am Michelle Garcia, the leader of fundraising  at Linda Vista. I have a passion for crafting and helping others. Being a mother of four, I understand the challenges of balancing school involvement with a busy life. My goal is to ensure all parents can contribute to the school, regardless of their circumstances, and make a positive impact at Linda Vista.​

Grace Carmody
​Communications Chair

Hello, I’m Grace! I’m entering my third year in the PTA, and second year as the Communications Chair. In this role, my goal is to ensure PTA communications are both informative and inclusive, helping to foster a strong community among parents, teachers, and students. In addition to the PTA, my roles include business proposal developer, small business owner, football fanatic, and mom to two amazing kids (K and 1st), and two awesome dogs. My family and I have found a great community here at Linda Vista, and through my role, I look forward to strengthening that network for us all.

Hi my name is Kristi Eberhardt.  I currently have a 3rd grader. I am a nurse and love caring for people. My biggest passion right now is providing my kid the best experience in school. I love volunteering.  If you like to talk about PTA. I'm a very outgoing person and love to chat. 

Jessica Breiter-Feldman
​Room Parent Coordinator

Hi! My name is Jessica Breiter-Feldman, and I am so honored to be the Room Parent Coordinator! My background is in nursing, women’s health and midwifery. As a nurse and midwife, my mission is to care for and comfort others, and this mindset will carry over in my role at Linda Vista. I will work hard to ensure that school will not only be a place of learning, but also a place of warmth, comfort and stability for our kids, each and every day. Historically, the volunteers and staff at Linda Vista have created such a welcoming, nurturing and supportive environment, that I will strive to continue on this path that makes Linda Vista such a successful and special place for our kids and their families! I look forward to working with and meeting the school staff, PTA, and families of Linda Vista to make this an amazing year for everyone! ​

Hello Linda Vista families, I'm Belinda Linares, one of the friendly faces you'll encounter at school. I am a parent of two wonderful kids at Linda Vista. While my educational background is in business administration, my true passion lies in fostering connections and building relationships with others. I am excited to meet all of you and anticipate a fantastic school year ahead!

Shannon Crogan

My name is Shannon and my daughter Hadley is just entering 3rd grade at Linda Vista. We’ve been a Linda Vista family since Kindergarten and we love the school community. I am excited to part of the PTA Board this year serving as Membership Chair. I am looking forward to not only welcoming our new families into Linda Vista this year but to also encourage last year’s members to re-join our PTA organization. Membership doesn’t mean you have to help out with everything, but your voice, ideas and opinions are important to both our school and school district. I am looking forward to another exciting school year ahead.

Hello, Linda Vista families. I am a mother of four who all attended Linda Vista, Santiago Middle School, and El Modena High School.
I am a past PTA President of Linda Vista and look forward to working with the PTA this year.   I encourage everyone who can, to get involved with the Linda Vista PTA. Your kids are aware of what you do. If you prioritize their school and activities while they are young, they will also value the importance of their education. I look forward to meeting you at Linda Vista functions.

Hello Linda Vista Families! I happy to be serving on the PTA and helping our kids and families. I have 4 kids at Linda Vista, and have been a part of the school and PTA for 8 years. I am a Nonprofit Executive Director helping other nonprofits have a greater impact, and when I am not working, volunteering, or cheering on my kids- you can find me reading a book at a campsite near the beach! Looking forward to making memories this year! ​

Hi. My name is Kathleen Mutch and I am this year's Financial Secretary. Currently I have a son in TK and a 3rd grader LV. I am very excited to help the PTA raise money  and help with this years events. As parents we can contribute to the PTA by donating money and/or volunteering for the many events that our PTA pays for. We have a great PTA family and would love to have you as a Member too! Become a Member and join us at a meeting whenever you can. Feel free to chat if you see me at pick up too! Let's make this a great year for our kids! ​

Hello! My name is Judith Amaro and I am honored to serve as the Programs Chair for the Linda Vista Elementary School PTA. Professionally, I work in the public utility sector, where I have gained valuable experience in project management and community engagement. I am excited to bring these skills to our PTA to help create enriching and diverse programs for our students. My primary goal is to collaborate with local nonprofits and organizations to introduce a variety of STEM, music, and arts programs to our children. I believe that a well-rounded education is crucial for fostering creativity, critical thinking, and a love for learning. As a parent of a son in K, I understand the importance of creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all families. I am committed to ensuring that every parent at Linda Vista Elementary feels valued and that their voices are heard. By working together, we can build a PTA that reflects the diversity of our community and supports the unique needs of every child. 

Hi! My name is Stacie Macias, and I’m excited to be on the PTA Board this year as Corresponding Secretary. I’m the proud parent of a second grader here at Linda Vista — and also a former student myself! My family’s love for Linda Vista runs deep, so it’s incredibly special to have my son attending the same school. I joined the PTA last year to stay connected with everything happening at school and to find ways to contribute. My background is in Business, but I love helping our community thrive in any way I can. I look forward to using my skills to support our school and make it a great year for everyone. I can’t wait for an exciting year ahead!

Christopher Metzen

Christopher Metzen is the Executive Creative Director of Warcraft at the gaming company, Blizzard Entertainment. Chris is a game designer, artist, voice actor and author known for his work creating the fictional universes and scripts for Blizzard's three major award-winning media franchises: Warcraft, Diablo and StarCraft. Chris is also the proud dad of 3rd grader, Korra.
